Deadly Swine Flu paralyses Mexico City

I arrived at EZE on Sunday am. There was doctor there looking at people and containers. I had brought some dog crates, he only asked me about if I had dogs. I had empty containers.

They have just installed body temperature sensors in Ezeiza aiport.

body temperatures at EZE...Wow, but we can't get a good bus pass for the city.

That's what they are reporting on the news. Airport workers in Ezeiza are wearing face masks also. As I understand it, these masks are effective in preventing an infected person transmitting airborne particles but really confer little protection from inhaling airborne particles on the wearer.

pagina 12 says : "Mientras en Ezeiza los controles sumaron otro equipo para realizar termografías a los pasajeros..."

I know that Argentina has already banned flights from Mexico due to the swine flu. But does anyone know if the same is happening with the US? My husband and I thought we understood that on the radio just now but with limited Spanish, we're not sure if we heard correctly.

Sorry to cause any alarm if this is not true - just want to know if anyone can comfirm

As Mexico announces 19 confirmed deaths, I can confirm that on average 75 people per year die from falling coconuts.
People be very scared of coconuts, this is the next pandemic!!:D
