Check out the carrefour in the mall and if they don't have it, there is a bazar called fork in the same mall that almost certainly would have a brush

There are inexpensive kitchenware stores On Purreydon between las Herras and Santa Fe.

Change the sponge every 4-5 days. In 4-5 days, it does not get that dirty.

Change the sponge twice a month. Wash the dishes using very hot water (you need latex or rubber gloves). Microwave the sponge every other day on between replacements.

I'm not all that worried about my sponge being a hive for bacteria, I just find it easier and quicker to clean with a brush.

Is there a reason why dishwashers are super uncommon here? I stayed in several different apartments all of which with a modern interior, but none of them had one. Technically, even Argentina should be capable to produce them, so I wonder if its a cultural thing or whether there are other reasons?
