Didn't Donald predict a 30% drop in the dollar vs. Argentine peso if the Democrats won in November?

A few of you mocked that prediction. But 185 to 140 is close to 30%. And the decline started about the time that election.

Did Trump ever mention the Arg peso by name except when perhaps mentioning currency manipulation and devaluation in general around the time he added tariffs on steel and aluminum imports?

A drop in the dollar doesn't mean the peso goes up relatively, because the peso is "backed" by dollarized debt (lots of it) and US T-bills (apparently not a lot of them).
