Down, down, down (a peso devaluation thread)

First Amendment.

Is ulterior the word you meant to use?
Ulterior is the word I used, as can be seen in your quote. 'Ulterior agenda' signifies an agenda, which is kept hidden, while one pretends to have a different, more acceptable agenda.

Just as I preferred to see Ronald Reagan elected in 1980 rather than Jimmy Carter stay in office.
So did I - BTW: Ronald Reagan was the American president ever, who raised taxes the most - look at the figures, not the myth.

If you don't think these people if elected wouldn't try to force their version of Christinity down your throat read this. This guy is a spokesman for the AFA which was one of the main sponsors of Ranger Ricks prayer meeting a few weeks ago.

I believe its completely insane. Does Rick Perry agree with all this, I don't know, but if he doesn't share their views why is he associating with them? Do we really want to elect people that support this kind of thinking and associate with these kind of people?

No one can force anyone to believe anything.

If and when you realize this you will become a Libertarian.

Rick Perry may or may not be the GOP nominee.

It's too soon to know.

The last GOP candidate for president was selected by the New York Times as much as by the Republican party.

Does anyone think the NYT wanted him to win?

Would you call gay members of the forum faxxots?
Gay was a derogatory word, which the gays themselves were smart enough to take to their hearts. You cannot insult a person, using the expression they use about themselves.

or black members nixxers?
Blacks in the US unfortunately haven't learned from the gays. If they thought things over carefully, they would call themselves niggers or the like - my favorite son in law, who is an Igbo from Nigeria does this. Wilfred is smart.

Do you think this thread is still open because of the First Amendment?

Which of course does not apply in Argentina and is your only excuse for being offensive.

Wow.

Wow.
You don't think the First Amendment should be upheld?

I think if you are expecting a thoughtful or reasoned response to any of your questions you are wasting your time.

From the above link:

"The tax reform of 1986, meanwhile, wasn't designed to increase federal tax revenue. But that didn't mean that no one's taxes went up. Because the reform bill eliminated or reduced many tax breaks and shelters, high-income tax filers who previously paid little ended up with bigger tax bills."

Even though I was not invested in any kind of tax shelter during this period the individual who bought property from me in the mid 80's put it in a tax shelter. This legislation not only destroyed the shelter, it also destroyed the value of my property, leading to his bankruptcy and mine as well.

Perhaps I shouldn't care who is elected President of the United States.

As Lord Keynes said, "In the long run we'll all be dead."

See you in Hell (at least you have the appropriate attire).
