Actually, I've seen quite a few such museums around the world, Yad Vashem and Dachau spring to mind, so I have a pretty thick skin when it comes to man's inhumanity to man. What makes ESMA unique is I've been told the majority of the tour guides were inmates at some point in time, much like another place I visited, Robben Island. That makes the experience even more powerfull.
