The limit of tickets for the Argentine Performers concert series at Teatro Colon as been changed as of March 20 from four to two:

Tickets for all the concerts in this cycle can be collected on the Friday prior to the performance, from 10 am to 8 pm at the Teatro Colón ticket office, Tucumán 1171.
Tickets are given two per person until seating capacity (2,487) is reached.

There was a huge crowd around the building on March 13, and many were turned away without tickets. Hence, the change in policy. I was in line at 8:30am on Friday to obtain tickets for this Sunday's concert at 11:00am. All tickets are handed out within a couple of hours. They're for designated sections, not specific seats. If you want main floor, be in line at the Tucuman street door at least by 9:00am.

It's the same procedure to obtain two tickets for the Orquesta Estable and Orquesta Filarmonica concerts held at La Usina del Arte in La Boca.

A joint concert today by the Star of the North Band from Minneapolis/St. Paul and the Banda Sinfonica de Buenos Aires at Plaza San Martin (Florida and Santa Fe)at 18 hs.

Last night the Orquesta Filarmonica de Buenos Aires and Coro Estable del Teatro Colon performed Beethoven's Ninth Symphony at the Anfiteatro Eva Peron in Parque Centennario. Tickets were free for 1,600 if you could obtain one. I sat in the 8th row under a clear sky. If you attend the same concert in the glorious Teatro Colon, a main floor seat is 850AP. The Orquesta performed last Sunday at La Usina del Arte for an audience of 1,200.
