Any idea with post connection once can buy similar roaming plans for worldwide?

Uruguay and Paraguay are by far the cheapest, but there are packs for every where. When I go to the US I usually buy a 30 minute pack (15 min incoming calls 15 min outgoing calls) which is enough to get me by on the first day by until I can pop in a US sim card. That cost 120 pesos back in may.

To be clear, when I was in uruguay I did not buy a voice plan, because I wasn't planing on calling anybody, I just paid the normal roaming rates which are not terribly unreasonable in Uruguay. What I bought was a data plan which cost 100 pesos for the 300mb.

Yes I have a post paid plan. I just call *25225 and ask them for a pack, they ask for my birthday and id number to make sure I am who I say I am and then they activate the pack. Easy as pie, 3 minutes or less.

I finally decided to change over from "pre paid to post paid".

After waiting for my turn to come for almost 1.5 hours at personal office, i had a long discussion with the personal attendendant who did in fact discover that personal was stealing my money from my account. we uncovered almost 500 pesos as "balance stolen from my account" over past 3 months by Personal it self under "no pretext!!! It showed on their computer!! I did not even bother to check earlier than that. Have this number for over 3 years now.

Immediately decided to take personal black plan. Its the top most plan of personal. Its costs 340 pesos a month. To show their sadness for their theft, they actually gave me the plan for just 200 pesos a month for next 12 months. The plan includes 800 minutes a month including calling to north america and anywhere in south america. does not include el caribe. Plus unlimited internet and 9 free numbers withinpersonal.

for going abroad, one can take a package or use the open line abroad. The costs are in us$ converted to pesos in white rate. I had just enough of this pre paid sh&t

I have Claro and seems almost everytime I travel to other countries it doesnt work on roaming. I always buy a sim card for whatever country Im in with a prepaid package for the amount that I will need.

Don't know about claro but with personal I used to have to call before traveling abroad to activate international roaming.

The main benefit of your new plan is next year even though everyone else is going to be paying 10x more for air time, you'll still get the same 800 minutes for the same price.

The guy said my international roaming is activated and I can make a call using my open line. Or if I like, take a pack.

I will only know about it when i go to Brazil this weekend!
