Mexican and Guamanian roots are calling...but rolling out the dough and using cookie cutters just doesn't feel right, and I roll every shape of tortillas BUT circles. Most of the food I'll be using these for require a pretty close to even circle. I figured Barrio Chino would be a good place to check. Anyone seen these around town anywhere? Maybe there is a Barrio Mexicano I've yet to locate? :) First reply that brings this search to a successful close gets to try some Guamanian empanadas!! I hope you like comida muy picante...

Hi, Just a couple of days ago I decided to make tortillas with Maseca for the first time since I moved back to Argentina from Mexico. I don't have a tortillera so instead, I made small "balls" out of dough, placed each one between 2 plastic films, and placed a heavy and flat surface pan on top of it and pressed down to form the tortillas. They came out pretty well!

There's a local Mexican tortilla delivery service, might contact them and see if they have any press buying tips for you!
