Italian Food

Had the tasting menu and another pasta dish at Doppio Zero this week and thought it was all mediocre at best.

I loved Bella Italia a year ago and had a great recent review from a foodie I trust.

Bella Italia grill on Segui in Palermo Botanico. The third restaurant in the area....they also have a cafe and restaurant on nearby Arabe Siria.

Sotto Voce on Libertador in Recoleta.

Sotto Voce is on Libertador/Ayacucho and also in Puerto Madero. I really like this place because the food is good and it offers "1st World" service. However, every time I say I like it and/or recommend it as a place to get really good Italian food, I get crucified. That being said, I really like it. So there.

Here it comes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVmCbwlRo2Y

Yeah I totally with campo de fiori and I would add Prosciutto as well.
Il Gatto is ok and affordable as well.

Il Ballo del Mattone at Gorriti 5936 in Palermo Hollywood is fantastic! Amazing food, cool atmosphere, great service and really reasonable. Highly recommended by moi.

We had a great meal last night at Bella Italia in Palermo Chico. Nice ambience, good wine list, great pastas and a great salad. Will definitely be regulars there.

Marcelo in Puerto Madero. I have eaten there at least a 100 times now and never had anything but an excellent meal and excellent service. Expensive but the dishes are to share. Only place I eat italian (and great fish) in BA.

Great to hear, I live around the corner and the funky bar staff already have me interested !

Guido #1 (on Rep India)

Guido #2 (the former Lucky Luciano's) on Cerviño (I think)

Both are good.

Guido's is my favorite too. Pricey but damn good.

La Parolaccia (there are many around), Sotto Voce (2 that I know of), and
La Stampa in La Recova (right below the 4 Seasons) are both consistently good. All are pricey too.
