July 10Th Pope Visits Paraguay

Paraguayans basically come to Argentina to shop, things are cheaper here than there. Argentine supermarkets even had to put limits on what they could buy because they were coming to Argentina, filling up their cars with petrol, cooking oil, you name it and going back.

Quit waving your flag and try to come to terms with reality.

It seems that for some of them, this is really hard to do. Which is understandable, if you think about it. People in Argentina grew up being told that they were the envy of all of Latin America. To come to terms with the reality that this is no longer the case is very difficult.

Just a heads up to mention they are expecting upto a million Argentines to be visiting Paraguay to see the pope this weekend. Expect travel chaos on biblical proportions
towards the end of the week.

I saw what you did there.

Fewer and fewer come here. Many more are returning as Argentina no longer provides an economic advantage.

Actually, nope.

The paraguayan immigration has been growing and growing unstoppably the past ten years, and more, and it surely will continue growing. Denying this is having no clue of Argentine reality.

Not sure what is happening with immigration but the Paraguayan economy is in pretty sound shape compared to Argentina. Asuncion has a huge amount of construction work at the moment and there are quiet a few infrastructure projects on the go to improve communications in the interior of the country.

Inflation is in single figures and the Guarani has perfomed well against the Dollar over the last 2 years . Paraguayan residents can freely change their cash for Dollars without any hassle.

Paraguay has been able to raise cash on the international marlkets at better rates than Argentina . Maybe you have a clear explanation for that?

Our Paraguayan portero moved back there, unfortunately, to be replaced by a Porteño thief that we can't fire.

Anyway, can you give us the precise INDEC figures?

Saying it doesn't make it so, Matias.

I would provide you with references to disprove your statement, but it wouldn't do any good. You don't care about facts. Most demagogues don't.

Matías is not a demagogue. He's a brainwashee.
