Kicillof Pays To 92% Of Bondholders, Griesa's Move Now?

The dodgy factor comes into play, however, if a government ignores one of the most pressing issues for years, publishes obviously false figures and replaces people in the relevant positions who do not agree to lie about the real inflation...

In the UK the inflation rate is based on the cost of new cars and computers washing machines etc. If the UK government used the increases in cost of energy, food and rent the inflation rate would be much higher than its current %. Rather like the UK government saying that everythings brilliant again in the economy because GDP and house prices are rising without considering that overall incomes for most are not keeping up.

That's precisely why I wrote "rank"/"ranking" (ranking = payment?)
Problem is, that Hayk Kupelyants' article (your link) does not adress the meaning of the expression in the two prospects nor the reason why it is there. In those prospects 'pari passu' means
either 'on equal terms'/'on equal footing'
or 'goobledegook' just to fill the line.

14 years ago the Belgian Appeals Court interpreted 'pari passu' exactly as it later is in the Argentine prospects, and exactly like judge Griesa interpreted it, and exactly as it is interpreted in commercial law.

You may not like it, but law and emotions are about as disconnected as anything can be.

And don't forget something too...

The Vultures counselors were not smart at least on one thing: the fragata Libertad

Even the harshest CFK critics have this sticked in their throat. (Meaning CFK can get some support on this even from her critics).

And they must be paid a fortune... What a shame

A Belgian Appeals Court interpreted the same way, 14 years ago, in a case we don't know about (lives not at stake maybe in case of a crisis?), a clause the same way as a NY judge, 14 years later, in a case that could affect many countries & millions of people?

That's your argument?!

You ask for explanations/meanings, but you post again the same argument about this Belgian Appeals Court (A 2nd degree jurisdiction furthermore).

Your questions are odd (asking for precision while staying general, etc.)

This is getting ridiculous.

I mention 5 instances, the oldest dating back to the year 2000, where the interpretation of pari passu is the same, and you write "staying general".

1. Belgian Appeals Court
2. Argentine 2005 prospect
3. Argentine 2010 prospect
4. judge Griesa
5. commercial law

What is "general" about 5 specific instances?

Edit: Oh, and the US Supreme Court decided not to hear the case, because they considered Griesa to be right (A 2nd degree jurisdiction?).

Sorry, but I am not going to waste more time on this.

Completely out of synch with what I wrote.
2008 financial debacle:
Will cooking the books by rating agencies and financial institutions in the USA on mortgage backed securities qualify as "manufacturing corrupt data."

Think about 2 trillion $$ was lost in peoples's 401/457 retirement plans because of BS data. Kind of pales in comparison to what Argentina did to people's retirement plans when they defaulted.

A well known philanthropist,Singer donated more than $10 mm US to support same-sex marriages.

In 2012, Singer provided $1 million to start a PAC named American Unity PAC. According to the New York Times, the PAC's "sole mission will be to encourage Republican candidates to support same-sex marriage, in part by helping them to feel financially shielded from any blowback from well-funded groups that oppose it."[sup][31][/sup]
In 2014, Singer contributed $375,000 to support the gay rights activist group Americans for Workplace Opportunity in an effort to pass the Employment Non-Discrimination Act. This bill requires workplace protections to extend out to the LGBT community.[sup][32][/sup] Singer spent more than $10 million, since 2010, to" help push" Republicans and states to support and legalize gay marriage.[sup][33][/sup]

Singer also signed The Giving Pledge, a commitment by wealthy individuals and families to donate more than half of their wealth to address society's "most difficult moral and economic challenges." In his commitment letter, he stated, "The Giving Pledge uniquely combines the direct provision of resources with the power of an idea - the idea that fostering discussions about the purpose of philanthropy may improve our philosophies of giving and lead to better results for those in need." Singer concluded in this letter that he is "happy and grateful to sign up for such a worthy endeavor."

Evil man, that.
