New ARG banknotes will be printed with the faces of national heroes

I've yet to come across a 2,000p note. Maybe it was all a dream.
I got $11,000 (all in $1000 notes) and $10,000 (50/50 in $500 and $1,000 notes) today at the supermarket and the YPF station in Punta Alta.

That was a dream come true...at least for today.🤠

Typical Peronist bullshit.

Print a bank note worth more than $5? No, instead piss away even more money changing something that wasn't broken
without addressing the fact these bills are worthless. And because Albertudo asked, I like the animals and nature, they're
the nice things about Argentina, not controversial or polarizing (after all, as the saying goes, El problema de la Argentina
son los argentinos)
.
Right! Take away Franklin from the 100 usd bill and instead put a woodpecker and then you will realize that the US is full of “peronists”.

Not sure what your point is, of course people would bellyache about that in the US too, but we're talking about Argentina, where we live, where this happened, and where the Peronists were all angry about it.

I just think that countries that have chosen national symbols or animals or nature instead of historical figures for currency have made a better choice as they're less polarizing/avoid controversy. The reality is we don't have a stable currency, so we're going to have this debate every 4-5 years when additional zeros need to be added, and having say a Plush-crested jay on the front and PN Iguazú on the back of the $5,000 would be better than the Peronists wanting Nestor, JxC wanting Yrigoyen, LLA wanting Videla, and FIT-U wanting Che.

Also maybe I'm a little biased because the money I have to keep in my pocket with Ramón Carrillo on is a reminder that he helped his friend Carl Vaernet settle here in Argentina, a proud member of the Danmarks Nationalsocialistiske Arbejderparti who preformed experiments at Buchenwald on people like my husband and I, so I do think a "woodpecker" would be nicer, but I guess I'm just being sensitive.
