Nicotine Patch For An Argei

I have this really bad habit… it's a weird pattern. When I land at EZE, the first thing I do is buy a pack of Marlboro Red ("box"). I usually end up smoking for two weeks and then buy the patch and/or gum and/or the pastillas. And so I quit. And remain a non-smoker for quite some time, including the time spent back home in Canada (Montreal). And then I come back to Buenos Aires and the whole process starts again.

Arrive in BA--buy cigarettes--smoke for two weeks-- wear the patch for three weeks--go back to Canada for 4 months--arrive in BA-- buy cigarettes…

It is the stupidest thing in the world.

With the patch, you wear one per day. You are supposed to use them for three months, but I usually only need them for the first three weeks.

PS. 21 patches in Canada = $100 CDN, 21 patches in ARG = 300 pesos.

I guess people are very very different ... set in their very own unique ways.
For some it's so easy to switch ON & OFF ... just like that.

For some, it must be hard to watch, and feel helpless ... nothing you can do.

Also, I don't know if the extra pounds are goina complicate and add to the hurdle ...
