I didn't have access to home banking for the two years I've had the account without a TOKEN, so I haven't used the system.

I think you absolutely need to have a cellphone at least for emergency calls.
All it takes is a dumb cell phone, prepaid SIM card and balance for like 20 minutes of voice calls. After that you can just add 5-10 pesos to the balance every few months to keep the line active.

There is always someone around with a cellphone. I prefer to avoid close contact with EMFs.
