Reduced flight schedules and current entry / exit requirements

So what happens to foreigners who have been overseas for nearly two years without a return to Argentina? Will their DNIs be extended if they are nit willing to return until these conditions?
Not sure that question would be relevant to/ answered by this DNU, since the DNU would not actually stop you from coming back to where you are supposed to be a resident while your residency remains valid. As for Argentines, if you don't like the rules then it is your problem, not the governments.

From LN
  • DNU will be released in coming days (delayed beyond today as previously foreseen due to impact on and input by various ministries)
  • In addition to 14 day hotel quarantine the main focus will be reducing flights further down to a bare minimum to manage capacity and kill off demand
  • Anyone who finds themselves stuck abroad because of this won’t be helped by repatriation flights
  • Domestic tourism not to be restricted until possibly after Easter
  • Some provinces may require positive covid cases to be quarantined in hotels (currently in most places this is only for those who are unable to do it at home)
Why not ban tourism... its really not hard

Toldcha ya'll. Nada.

No hotels. Nothing really changes. Fewer flights, you still need to do 7 days at home -- better chance someone might call you or visit you to verify you are home once during those 7 days.

This is the latest edict ?

Yesterday's session with the governors was essentially brainstorming session. Meanwhile hotel quarantine, reductions and even total border closures with Brazil are still on the table to be included in the DNU. They are saying the exact plan should be known by the weekend but the government has too many opinions flying around and appears too disorganised/ unwilling to make any decision. Election year impotence perhaps?

Ever participated in a meeting full of Args ? This is about how it goes, 10 people talking across each other about 5 different topics. At the end of the scheduled duration no decisions made or goals met. Everyone knows how each others' family is doing and if Boca beat River or not this week.

I thought generally additional restrictions were announced with the extension of border closures, in this case April 9th being the closest date. Can we expect more restrictive measures on top of what's being proposed then?
