The Case Of The 22 Year Old Virgin... Could It Happen Here ?

We allow, glorify, worship, and idolize so much abhorrent and asocial behavior in music, movies books, on line, TV and in day to day life that it has become much more difficult to identify the potentially dangerous. And even worse [considering the f...cked up health care system] only the wealthy get treatment. The problem is with the society and the systems that have been ignored and abandoned.

I think it is important to keep things in perspective. Every year, more people win the lottery than are killed by psychos. The odds of anyone being killed by someone with a mental disorder in the US are astronomical. The media makes it seems like a common occurrence by splattering the story everywhere. It is not.

A regular person with a minimum sense of hygiene and able to have basic verbal communication should have no difficulty in finding sex in the US.

Wonder, why US is called the "sex prison"!

Whoa, I'm all for people having their own opinions, but no need for calling people slurs like dizzy little queens or sluts. Seriously! If there's a point to be made here, it gets lost in the trash language..

I always wonder how the NRA fanatics would feel if it was their first grader who got shot in the face and massacred with his/her whole class last year by a maniac with easy access to our country's lovely, basically free cache of assault weapons.

Most words are taken from (Elliot's Video). To reflect HIS point of view on what hurt him so much and frustrated him to commit such crime. Did you watch the Video??

Huh? I am not a particular good looking guy and back in college (USA) it came to the point that getting laid was so easy that I was sending girls away. This guy was a psycho and the girls probably picked up on the "psycho vibe" instinctively and stayed the hell away. A regular person with a minimum sense of hygiene and able to have basic verbal communication should have no difficulty in finding sex in the US.

I agree. That asshole was actually kind of handsome, so there was something else that prevented him from getting laid. Unfortunately he was a narcissistic sociopath that thought he was entitled to romance without having to get his mental health in order first. Sad sad.

I couldn't watch more than about 30 seconds of this cringefest - do I really need to watch the whole thing?

I wonder if this guy was into gaming and that's how he developed his social skills?

In 2011 8,583 Americans died from firearms. On that same year, over 13 thousand died from various types of accidental falls. So, in the "gun crazed" US, you are more likely to die from a fall than from a gun shot, much less from a gun shot from a crazy psychopath.

Just because about four thousand more individuals died from falls doesn't alter the fact that "we need to do something now" about gun violence in the USA.

Once that problem is solved with the passage of more "gun control laws" the greater problem (at least numerically) of deaths from falls can be tackled.

More restrictions on the sale of ladders and scaffolds would be a good start. Mandatory bars on windows on all floors of buildings over one story would also be something to consider. Regulating (if not banning) rock and mountain climbing (and the sale of related equipment) would undoubtedly save lives. So would prohibiting unhappily married couples from walking together across a bridge or visiting a lookout point in any park (such as the Grand Canyon).

Of course no new laws to prevent deaths from falls would be needed if we could just repeal the law of gravity.

I'm still waiting to hear about where I get this "basically free cache of assault weapons".

At least you already know where you can get knives and machetes for less than the cost of one box of ammo.
