Hello forum, do you guys/girls think this estancia would cost me how much to build there close to
capital federal built on a 5000 mtrs square of land. I really don't need a pool per se. But need to fill
with a first class Audio visual sytem, first class massage chair as this one shown below plus the furnitures necessary for the Quinta.
Inada chair.
Take a guesss approx. US$ 200k, US$250k,or US$300k ?

Why would you want to build a wood frame house in Argentina? The quality of lumber here is nothing like that in the USA and the reliability of contractors isn't nearly as high either.

In the USA it's relatively easy to sue a contractor who fails to perform as agreed, especially if he is licensed (and most are).

I suggest you buy rather than build, unless you have very good (trustworthy) connections, and I suggest you buy rather than build, even if you do.

I you can find a house you like on 5000 metes sq. and pay less than $1000 USD per square meter for the finished interior space of the house (with nothing extra for any covered exterior space (semi-cubierto) or the pool) you may have found a "good" deal, but it all depends on the location.

This is located near Mercedes (a weekend tourist destination from BA) and is priced at $135K USD:

It's on 5000 meters and has a pool.

It even has a quincho that seats 50.

Perhaps you could have a "casa de fiestas" with an (optional) Asian menu.

Chile, of course, has abundant wood construction but, from what I can tell, the framing is often terrible.

$1 million USD

Not exactly a quinta...nor 100 sqm meters +-, as I thought you were talking about before. Hehe.

And I'm just WAGging the price (WAG = Wild-Assed Guess), but as Steve said, you won't be doing wood construction here. Wood would be more expensive and less quality than how they normally build here.

A house in Chile influenced by Japanese tradition (although this could be discussed maybe?).

I must admit that architecture in Chile or Uruguay is much more interesting on average compared to Argentina.
Maybe is it because in Argentina you can build without a permit and suffer no consequence if you do it con viveza.

I'm more into a house like this (without the ugly road below, and with a view on a lake or river in Patagonia):

Both those are highly unusual in Chile; the house above is just outside Santiago. I have my doubts about the quality of Chilean wood, much of which comes from fast-growing Monterey pine (not considered a timber species in its native California, it comes from plantations in Chile). It is often inadequately dried and thus often separates. Poor framing is another issue.
