U.s. Citizen Apprehended For Crimes Committed In Ba

Speaking of people hiding in Argentina... Just read an article about a guy named Kurt Sonnenfield - 9/11 conspiracy theorist who says his wife committed suicide by shooting herself in the back of the head (his claim is the US government is out to get him for a 9/11 inside job). Is this guy also in the expat community?

From nikad's link its clear its the same guy. That's an official site.

Not sure why some people have been jumping on Nikad. I don't see what she posted wrong, and apparently has not made a false accusation at all. Must be a personal grudge against her from some posters.

There is not need for an apology really. I can understand that some people can be in shock if they knew him in person or were his friends. He seemed like a very polite and sensible man and it must not be easy to understand or assimilate that the same person could have caused so much pain to others.

I was the first to say it because when the accusation was posted - no name of the accused had been given and there was zero official confirmation that restaurant owner was one and the same as the abuser. I'm a little old fashioned, I prefer waiting of the official charges until hanging someone out to dry. Now that officially they list that name as one of his aliases - have at condemning the pervert.

I truly feel for his victims.

What a pervert hair cut he had - alarm bells !

That's funny, I was bitching one day not long ago about since I turned 40 my ear hair grows like carrots, He said thats why he has the nutty professor hair style at the moment to cover his ears.... He bought us both new Phillips trimmers about a month later

Crazy. I remember the Big Apple posts... never went to the place or met him, but this is shocking.

For those who don't read Spanish.... apparently the crimes which he is being arrested and extradited for were committed in the US and was sentenced to 9 years in 2001. In 2006 he was released on parole, but when that was revoked, he escaped to Argentina. In 2008 Argentina's supreme court rejected the extradition. He supposedly spent 2 years in a psych ward, before he was arrested again in 2010 in San Telmo. http://www.pagina12.com.ar/diario/sociedad/3-142983-2010-03-31.html

How many times has this guy been caught? There's articles dating from 2006-2016. He should have been sent back a long time ago.
