Vegetarian Restaurant

I've got Vegetarian friends visiting in a couple of weeks -- just looking for some more ideas, has anyone been anywhere new in the past few months that they'd recommend?

Doesn't need to be strict vegetarian restaurants but also places that have a decent selection of veg options.

I wholeheartedly second Spring, though I think they recently closed one of their locations and the one that is still open is just off Las Heras on Bulnes. All you can eat veggie buffet for $30 pesos, or take it to go and they charge you by weight.

I hate buffets but I'm addicted to this place - huge salad bar, sushi, hot entrees like fried rice, vermicelli noodles, fake meat done WELL, a first for me in this city; plus some Argentine standards like a variety of potatoes (au gratin, fries, roasted) and pizza. Dessert bar with fruit, ice cream, and cake but I've always been too full to appreciate it!

Also there is another Natural Deli in Barrio Norte on Laprida and Beruti. A little pricey but delicious and the setting is quite nice.

Finally there's an incredible Vegetarian restaurant called Kensho. It used to be a closed door in Boedo but now it's an open restaurant on the ground floor of a buiding in Colegiales. Be sure to make a reservation (dinner only) since the place is small. They have a menu to choose from as well as a 4-course dinner for $100 pesos.

Check out The Natural Deli in Las Canitas. It's not a vegetarian restaurant, per say, but they seem to have a lot of veggie dishes and serve organic foods. They have smoothies! They also have a shop in back.

Watch your stuff if you go to Natural Deli. My daughter had her bag snatched from one of its sidewalk tables.

The whole area around La Imprenta and the Solar de La Abadia Shopping is prime hunting ground for pickpockets and thieves.
