HI everyone. This question has probably been answered several times over in this forum, but just for sake of clarity: I am travelling to uruguay for the summer vacations on an expired tourist visa with plans to return to buenos aires. I have already renewed my visa once, but that also expired. Is there any chance I won't be allowed reentry?

You won't have any problems. You will pay the $300 peso overstay fee when you leave Argentina and you will receive a new 90 day visa when you return.
