Why do you need to be a lawyer to investigate corruption, surely someone who can track the money, i.e. an investigative accountant would be better?

Corruption is a crime, so, you need to be a lawyers to understand when the legal requirements are fullfited.

We do not have jury trials where common people decide. She is going to face professional judges, defendants and prosecutors who are highly specialized lawyers. Do you really think that she has any chance?

Because her work is not to do a show for the press like Lanata.

The legal system here is differen than the US because there is no common people at the jury. In fact, there is no jury, just lawyers: judges, prosecutors, defendants.

You can recognize corruption but to acchieve a sentence is something different.

She had made dozens if not hundreds of criminal reports. All of them were filed because she was just looking for the show for the press.

In our criminal law, only exactly the behaviour described in the law is a crime and there is s complex analisys to do regarding the requirements that can be done only by a specialized criminal lawyer.

In my experience, it doesn' t work out. I made 5 dismissal cases against 2 K friendly judges. 4 of them were filed even the irregularities were clear and obvious for any lawyer. But there you have politicians too. The 4 cases that were closed were decided by politicians who weren' t lawyers like Laurita while the one were the judge was accused was decided by a lawyer.
