Welcome To The Dictatorship Of Happiness

I'm not calling you an Obama hater, I haven't read enough of your posts, but I've had this argument before with a few of them. They think that he's the first President to use them (Presidential decdrees/Executive Orders) and is destroying the US every time he uses one. Compared to W Bush, Clinton, Kennedy and Eisenhower, he's way behind.

Why would my feelings about Obama make any difference in the question or its answers? I really don't understand why you'd care, since the question stands alone, apart from any personal opinions.

Thanks for the wiki link - it's informative but not really responsive, because the issue isn't the number of decrees, but their targets: seems that Obama, like Macri, is using decrees to bypass Congress and existing law. I don't think I've seen much of that happen before. And before anyone jumps, it makes no difference that the Congress is frustrating the President. The question isn't why he's doing it, but whether he's overstepping constitutional boundaries by doing so in ways not common in US political history.

Edit: Looked again at the link - it allows drilling down into the decree targets. I'll take a closer look. To be clear, presidential decrees are a legitimate tool of the executive. How many a President has issued isn't relevant, but what they affect, and if they cross the limits placed on the executive, is.

News, news, Michetti fired over 2000 employed of the senate by decree (clarification: it cannot be done by decree because it violates the defence right. There must be a file where the administration evidence he is a ñoqui and the employed can offer evidence that he is not). (Clarification 2: workers cannot be fired because they voted the opposition because this is political persecution).

New, news: Macri acchieved the impossible: the unions UPCN, ATE and UEPJ united (they always fight and compete each other) against Michetti and she gave up in less than 24 hs. (UPCN union of the civil workers of the nation) (ATE asociattion of workers of the State) (UEPJ union of employeds of the judicial power).

By the way, the President didn't make the oath under the National Constitution neither by the country. He was honest...

EJLarson, the problem with the decrees is when they are used to by pass the Congress abolishing laws because the President has no power there (Obama and Macri). At least here the dictatorship is with happiness. :)

Well given the fact that I have more respect for the rocks decorating the boarders of my gardens than what is floating around in your K brain at this point Bajo. I think I will just sit back and watch the situation unfold from the other side of river for several months.

Coming in behind the mayhem of Kness I think desperate times call for desperate measures and there is allot in desperate going on in Argentina thanks to the imbecilic support and votes of warped K minds like yours that got a fine country like Argentina where it is today.

I know this is a mentally challenging time for you and if it gets really bad please do seek professional help. I am with Thorsten hopefully we can get your meds back online before you really do loose it along with all the mindless K cronies that happened to get out voted by your mindful country men that want change and seem to be getting just that.
