Western Union money transfer

I would wait until tomorrow afternoon; by 15:30 BsAs time, the new WU should reflect a market adjustment following INDEC's publishing of the sky high March inflation.

Current rate is 189.75, should at a minimum be in the ~193 range is my guess, but the only guarantee in life is death and taxes.
 
Past few days the transfers from WU and MG haven't been going through. I'm hoping it is just holiday issues.
 
The other day I got a email message from WU saying my bank declined the transaction, even thought there is more than enough money in my account for the amount I am transferring, and additionally, there was no alert from my bank about this transaction.. This was four days ago…
Not sure what is going on.
 
Do you think the rate will be going lower and lower every week? I am now in the US and will be back in June, I was wondering if it's not a good idea to do a WU right now to be picked up in June (About 2000 USD in two transfers) than wait risking it falls to the official rate.

I doubt it could drop to the official rate.

If anything the official rate will come up to the blue rate. The blue rate represents reality at least in argentina.

Thank you for your input. I've also noticed it has been more difficult to pick up even 150 000 ARS. Most locations tell you they don't have that much.
 
For larger transfers it's best to go to the large site at the corner of Avenida Cordoba y Montevideo, you can take out 300k or 400k no problems.

There can be long lines however so best to make the morning / afternoon of it in that part of town..
