It's not his bank. I'm getting the same error when I try with a debit card and the promo code.
I tried pulling it directly from checking account, also with promo code, and it accepted the transaction (so far), but with a 4-day delay. There is always the possibility that they will later come back and tell me the bank declined the transaction, blah blah.

Millie, were you using the promo code when they declined your transaction? Was it with debit card? Jblaze, how about you?

I just sent one for 20K ARS and it went through without issue via the app (US Debit card) and promo code. I got a push notification saying there was an issue, but when I clicked on it, I was taken to a page in app saying the transfer was awaiting pickup

Last week they called my US VOIP number and they sent me the following email but haven't had any issue since I talked to their anti-fraud department, they wanted to confirm that I knew the recipient (my husband).

I got two transfers from MG today to my two different bank accounts.

My US bank said there was delays due to the "holidays" and "the way my debit card is processed". I made the transfers on the 14th and the arrived today about 2pm.

I love how the USA customer service is circling the drain. It's never been so bad.

With regards to the WU code, I made another transfer today from WU as a backup for my MG transfers and the DIGITAL0FEE code worked fine.

So, Millie, what did your bank say? I went to contact mine and discovered they no longer have live chat. I started to send them a message and then it occurred to me that in the current climate of paranoia, if the message was read wrong, they might well freeze my account, cancel my debit card, or god knows what else. So I canceled the message and decided to wait a few days...
