What Are You Watching On Netflix? Was It Any Good?

Boardwalk Empire was a big surprise. Very well done. And Lillyhammer is just plain fun.

I also agree about Marvels Daredevil. What a surprise!

I think everyone (myself included) was expecting a cheesy, childish comic book hero show. The show turned out to be anything but. Instead of cardboard heroes and villains, we got fleshed out human being with depth, complexity, flaws and redeeming qualities. Instead of cheesiness and super powers, we got a gritty and violent setting, full of moral ambiguities and a handicapped hero that is moral, bleeds, and feels pain just like the rest of us.

And the Wilson Fisk character, played by the amazing Vincent D'Onofrio simply stole the show.

John Steed (Sir Denis Eton-Hogg to Spinal Tappers) has died: http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-33279566

Last summer we actually made a detour to Lillehammer because my wife liked the show so much. The premise of mafiosos running the town is beyond preposterous, which is part of what makes it fun.

And considering that the Mafiaso is Stevie Van Zant lead guitar for Bruce Springsteen it gets funnier/more funny.

Mr. Robot (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4158110/): If the rest of the series is similar to the quality of the pilot, this might be one of the top shows this year.

I'm almost there and up to S7 Ep 10 on Sons of Anarchy, whilst wondering aimlessly about the death toll.
Fear not for here it is:

The body count starts to look like Normandy.
Mean while I keep hoping that somebody would bump off Oliva Pope just to put a merciful end to the series. [Scandal]
