I use IMDb to check the ratings of a film before I watch it. Here are a few that I really enjoyed: Oldboy (2003) rated 8.4, Léon: The Professional rated 8.6, Moonrise Kingdom rated 7.8, Ikiru rated 8.3, The Girl on the Bridge (La fille sur le pont) rated 7.6, Two Lovers rated 7.1, Silver Lining Playbook rated 7.9. Midnight in Paris rated 7.7, Never Let Me Go rated 7.2, Pride and Prejudice (2005) rated 7.8, Ridicule (1996) rated 7.4, RocknRolla rated 7.3, Searching For Sugar Man rated 8.2, Man on Wire rated 7.9, The Gatekeepers rated 7.6, Lost in Translation rated 7.8. If I really like a film I check for other films the director has made and look for ones with high ratings. I usually don't watch films rated under 7. To be honest I didn't watch any of these films on Netflix, but think most of them are available there.
