What Are You Watching On Netflix? Was It Any Good?

I am watching the series "How the states got their shape" from the History Channel. Pretty interesting facts about the United States, not just historical facts, but also cultural, religious and language factors that weighed in todays' state shape. For example did you know about the State of Jefferson? Or about how a fort was built in Canada due to poor surveying at the time, so that they changes the border with Canada to include it? Or how the mormons moved to New Mexico in Salt Lake City to found a religious Kingdom called Deseret, but then the border moved and they were yet again in US soil?!

Fascinating stuff.

wineguy, if you your BrBa as a measure for series in general, you are not doing yourself a favor as you'd probably dislike almost all series ;) That being said, I agree that Better Call Saul started slow, but I enjoy it anyway and the last episode was really good imo (reminded me a lot of BrBa style).

Heh! Your statement is true about standards. Some of my favorites besides BrBa were Boardwalk Empire, Sopranos, Band of Brothers, Mad Men, Rome...

Funny, when I think of it, the only one that I don't recall having any slow episodes was Band of Brothers. Hell, even BrBa misfired occasionally.

You can't top the Sopranos. BrBa was okay at the beginning, then from series 4th onward became too slow and less brain-y than the first 2 or 3 series.

How/ where are you guys watching Better Call Saul? It's not on Netflix US!
