Good point. They preach about monetarism for the others but they are, in reality, keynesians. While Cristina prints for social plans, the US prints to save the banks of to finance the war. Hipocrecy is called.
Question your motives and agenda. Remember the nationalization of the pension fund to protect the pensioners from the melt down in 2008? If the brain trust in power had just left the thing alone the fund would have doubled in today's market. Instead, the fund is about broke because of nationalization. Record speaks for itself sir.

That was never their REAL purpose. It was a money grab, pure and simple.
I know, will play the social justice game. Damn crime they confiscated the dollars. Subtract the $30 billion dollar pension fund from their reserves and they are broke. When the decision comes down in New York ( vulture funds) will be another crisis from the evil Yankees.

Japanese yen is following in the peso's footsteps. The "Messi Yen" times 10. 100 Yen to the dollar.

Abenomics and Cristynomics are the trendsetters today.

I wrote these in a diff Expat forums sometime a go.\Just eye opening. Annual inflation true rate in excess of 25%?..How does the Argentinean do it.? Japan would be anxious to know, Japan's common merchandises and others has been left stagnant as in de-flation for the last two decades. Heck, the prize of a Dozen Eggs or a can of Soda price has not changed from the 90's I remember. Each new Prime Minister arising into power has tried to prop-up the inflation but not being successful. The new Leader,: Shinzo Abe, is aiming for a scant 2% inflation target per annum by the year 2015~16, but will see if could be achieved. Japan has got to investigate and learn as to how is the Argentinean can do such a miracle of creating a 25% inflation.? Perhaps, hire CdK's best Boffins to propagate it to Japan, that envious inflation so rampant in Argentina.!

Also Prime minister Shinzo Abe said, Now that my enacted policy of buying back the J-Bonds to the tune of US$10 Billion a months with no ending buying spree time, thus the stock is reaching a 5 years high and the J-Yen reached down past JpnY100 per dollar. I want every Japanese citizen to open up their purse and start spending in order to reach that elusive 2% and he will guarantee that the wages will go up as well accordingly. He is talking about the "Three Arrows of economy recovery, the inflation"

As much as you would like to think so Joe, the answer is NO, The Argentines love for the dolar will persist and will be back to normal on Monday.

The cuevas and AFIP have an agreement and staged a "crackdown" Friday to make it look like they were doing something.

Only Argentine Neo-Liberal Golpistas love the dollar. Patriotic Peronists Prefer the Peso with the Passion of the Argentine Tango!

"10 Peso Choripan"?!?!

When I got here in March of 2007, the choripan was AR$3 in the expensive places, but you could still occasionally find it for AR$2.50.

When it hit AR$6, I thought it was crazy expensive.
