Retired husband syndrome (主人在宅ストレス症候群Shujin Zaitaku Sutoresu Shoukougun[sup]?[/sup], literally One's Husband Being at Home Stress Syndrome)[sup][1][/sup](RHS) is a psychosomatic, stress related illness which has been estimated to occur in 60% of Japan's olderfemale population.[sup][2][/sup] It is a condition where a woman begins to exhibit signs of physical illness and depression as their husband reaches, or approaches, retirement.[sup][2][/sup]
Did not see it, refused to see it, didn´t get it, 19 years, ... nothing, not even kids.
Took me even one whole year after divorce (additional to the 19) to get it.
It might not have been the money, but the idea of spending a lot of time together when you have to work, that is not an issue. In the end, it is better that it was 19 years and not 30 right?
