I am an American veteran who has been to Iraq, Kuwait, and Afhanistan...I can guarantee that I was not happy there. For the first time since I have moved to Buenos Aires I am personally offended. Maybe you shouldn't comment on things you know nothing about.

My car was broken into so many times I finally had to leave "Nothing in except for copies of my registration and insurance3. I left the glove box open and the doors unlocked just so I would not have my windows broken.

Interesting. Historically the tourist areas in Vegas have been some of the safest in America. It's the only place in the world where you can walk down the street (the strip, that is), drunk out of your mind with $10,000 in cash dangling out of your pocket and no one will bother you - except maybe a hooker, and even in that case you'll have a reliable chance of not ending up with a transvestite. As opposed to, um, Buenos Aires.

The big criminals in Vegas - that is, the casino owners - have always done a good job of keeping petty crime under control. Street crime is bad for business in a town that runs on a cash economy. I suppose the rule doesn't apply to the newly developed areas on the edge of the desert.

I'll repeat my comment to you: maybe you shouldn't speak about things you know nothing about.

I can guarantee that the Iraqi's I encountered appreciated my presence...I am a nurse, worked on a team that performed life saving surgeries (of which 90% where not as a result of American/British activities, but Iraqi- to- Iraqi fighting).

I won't get all political with you, because frankly you aren't worth the time

I am sure most iraqis would appreciate more that you leave them be and get on with their lives and you will see that the civil war started by you in the first place will suddenly disappear .

My guess is that most foreigners would have fled after the second or third incident.


Is there something about your appearance that attracts so many criminals?
