Well, it's starting to get alot of attention, especially the amount of money that's been dumped in to this dangerous project....so we'll see what happens about it. Apparently this isn't the first time that a similar incident hasn't happened. I think it's a good idea that folks be aware of things...

Dealing with noisy neighbour in an apartment block

Complaints....hardly but yes I have complained about the economy, how hard it is for many to make a living here, as well as the rising crime and insecurity, yeah I make no appologies for complaining about that. I married into a hard working, lower middle class argentine family, that struggles...

Dealing with noisy neighbour in an apartment block

How long have you lived here? You think all of this is a recent phenomenon regarding living in Argentina? The problem is your thinking like a foreigner, not like an Argentine. They don't think like us, what bothers us and we consider important and serious, they don't. You want them to have the...

Argentinas Corrupt Penal And Judicial System

This was just too good to pass up... You know here in the Province of Buenos Aires, they have a program called "Casas Por Carceles" - "Houses for Jailcells" A social program that's been implemented by the completely inept and "totally corrupt" "Ministerio de Seguridad de la Prov de Buenos...

    Teaching English Without Experience

You know, in Buenos Aires it's so easy to get a job.....as an english speaker... I still get regular job offers through agencies from there......there are SO many companies who will hire you and need you just because you are a native English speaker. My experience with teaching english here...

Dealing with noisy neighbour in an apartment block

In my neighborhood....they don't even use leashes. I've watched them....they just open the door, turn the dog out and let it go. The dog is then free to roam freely about the entire block, taking dumps and pissing wherever it pleases ( usually by my front gate ) and also harassing pedestrians...

    Moving To Ba From Canada

Well, I had always studied it, I had a very basic foundation when I got here, then I met my wife, we got married and my wife, who has a background as a teacher began giving me daily assignments, basic ones, then intermediate and then more advanced as I progressed. Of course botts on the ground...

    My Visit To Buenos Aires

Sorry I didn't respond to your questions... I was born in a small Illinois town in the lower midwest near Missouri. I never experienced any serious crime of any kind growing up, except when we moved to Florida, but even then it was only a few things taken out of my car when it was unlocked, and...

Flying Aerolineas Argentina - Resident Or Not?

My wife and I flew Aerolineas Argentinas back in 2011 to go to Miami and then on from there to visit my mom and family after my father ( ironically a former airline captian ) had passed away due to illness. It was an ok experience, our departure was almost an hour late but I've heard of alot of...
