    Flying With A Large Dog

I actually just flew United with my 80lb dog from BsAs to Chicago (via Houston) a few months ago. United is the strictest airline about kennel size and other requirements... honestly for anyone flying with a dog that doesn't touch the top of a size 500 kennel while standing I would recommend...

Chart Of Fruits And Vegetables By Season

Thought these might be of interest to some of you, rough guide of monthly fruit/vegetable prices based on Mercado Central sales: I'm always losing track of when things come into season here which has a huge impact on prices (& taste!) so I've found them useful : )

    Inexpensive Gyms

The gym I go to in Palermo Hollywood (Carranza btw Paraguay and Guatemala) is only $230/month. A bit far from you and women only, not sure if that's an option for you. Basically just ask for prices in all the tiny neighborhood ones that don't have pools!

"personal" Cellphone With No Monthly Plan Question

Strange that they gave you a chip each time, did they not ask for your personal details (name, passport etc.) to activate the line? Way back when I got mine I had to show my passport, we put the chip in while I was there, and then they gave me a card with credit to load later. If you want to...

    Nicaragua & Armenia?

I used to live a couple blocks from there, great area. Tons of nightlife plus a park and grocery stores nearby. To be completely honest we did get broken into once but it could have happened anywhere... I still feel plenty safe walking around that neighborhood and would recommend it.

    Abortion Pills In Argentina

@Nikad - people use this site to discuss other medical services (recommend dentists, doctors) all the time. You may be pro-life but I find this a perfectly appropriate topic. In addition to possibly providing women with needed information it's interesting to see how the culture and politics play...

Looking For Advice/help From Seasoned Expats

Aside from the unbelievable rental price, the rest of it doesn't sound all that crazy to me. If he's careful (safe meeting place, checks the pesos well) he could definitely cover some of the cost of his flight selling a few electronics via Mercadolibre (obv. even safer selling to friends). The...

    Getting A Dog

Another one updated daily: http://www.redmascot...e_adopt_pet.php (also a great resource for lost dogs) Lots on mercadolibre too, you can search perros en adopcion. There are also some great breeders in the area, but plenty of shady ones so definitely watch out. Also, if you get a puppy---...

Has Anyone Ever Brought A Dog From Eze To The States?

You may want to consider making his current cage larger, if it is otherwise suitable for air travel. I found expansion kits like in the attached picture when I was researching a kennel for my dog. That way he would already be comfortable with it, and paying someone to construct the wood for...

Any Idea How Much It Costs To Fill A Cavity Here In Ba?

My dentist had anesthesia and told me to stop her if it started to really hurt and she'd use it. Thankfully my cavities were superficial enough it wasn't necessary. Not sure if things have changed or other doctors have trouble getting it...

Any Idea How Much It Costs To Fill A Cavity Here In Ba?

About two months ago I was charged $250 pesos a filling by a dentist in San Isidro. Some of my friends commented that was a bit high and you probably could find a lower price... but go with somewhere trustworthy, not worth the risk trying to save a few bucks. Goodluck! Mine hardly hurt at all...
