Back in 2006 or so, my 70 Sony XBR HD was retailing for approx US$8000 I think? But have insider's connection for all SONY products so paid US$4000 or around that figure ? It was one of the first HD TV's on the market back then. But had to buy a Hughes HD converter to be able to watch it in 1080 format.
Those images on HD was just a dream come through, the clarity, and vivid, colours so brilliant and can swear watching super bowl, could see those close up shots showing the bead of sweat on players face ! My jaw dropped, mouth open
and just unbelieable emotion felt, I remember ! ...Now recounted the same experience when I saw those 4K images recreated through the 85' Sony UHD TV once again!..I don't need the 3D feature, the SONY TVs are so good that no 3D effect needed IMHO..Just a UHD or 4K will do..
