Is there a noticeable difference between 1080 and 4k? Ive never seen a 4k before.I actually deal with this sort of stuff for work so here's my opinion:
3D TVs are nice, but not worth it unless you have the equipment to back it up.
In order to do this, as mentioned, no Argentine carriers offer 3D TV, though some
Smart TVs are capable of reconstructing 1080p signals in to semi-3D appearance,
though this is not native (think about what happens when 720p is blow up to 1080p).
You can only take advantage of this by using a 3D capable graphics card in a PC
and using an HDMI 1.4a or DisplayPort cable (direct only, no adapters) while playing
1080p video at at least 60hz I'd say, and even then, it's likely a passive 3D which means
it's like 3D movies, and the video of course has to be 3D.
Long story short, IMO go for a 4K TV instead.

Plasma consumes a lot more energy. And remember you must reduce your energy bill in order to keep your electricity subsidy.Plasma or Led? I read there's a difference regarding the viewing angles.
If anyone can recommend a large model on Mercadolibre, thanks (like around 50")
I think I said that?Read somewhere that once you pass 100+MHz refresh rate it gets all samo-samo. It also gets back to the quality of the source input.
Tell me how muck 4k data is available in the US and when do you expect it to reach these coasts at a price that isn't just silly for a few and far appart choices that likely are really not even worth a movie theater screen. Most 3D movies are a waste of time and money. How many have rewatching value?
I'd put my money on the sound system any day of the week. They make the most miserable screen feel impressive. Sound is where you get your kicks.
3D TV for me not. I was one of the few that went for a HD 70' flat screen back in 2006 made by SONY and to this date still enjoying the quality resolution on that LCD. Vivid and the clarity is breath taking. If and when I make my move for my next replacement TV is again will be the SONY and with 4K resolution. Before the new 4K TV, I will have to upgrade my Hard disc HD camcorder to a 4K resolution. The 4 time better than the current HD format is awesome to watch.
Went to see one at the Palo Alto shopping center in CA and didn' want to leave the show room, I was glued to that 4K TV like a magnet! However, the 4K big screen TV, had a sticker of US$24.995.00 tag on it! Got to wait till more manageable price range of circa US$5k !
