1. Definitely no trying to start anything.
2. We do not have to agree, you know? Those few that have liked my statement seen to agree with it. You don't. Fine by me.
3. Back in the 70's I was too busy dodging bullets and bombs by the murderous terrorists (currently some of those in power) and some bloodthirsty uniformed to think of being proud or trying to change the world.
4. Against those we march and protest.
5. Call me ultra whatever. That's how I want to keep it.
1. Really? well the inference is that you insult me and my intelligence because I have an opinion which is that there are ultra right wing interests in Argentina and given the immediate past not a suitable subject for flippancy - but that might be unintended on your part
2. We dont agree, We can agree on that. Neither can be proved to be correct until well after the event and the bodies are counted and the outcomes assessed. Even then I doubt we will agree.
3. So you were hiding away in the 1970's but not now. Well I guess that's progress anyway.
4. Seemingly proud now - but not then possibly saved your life. In all honesty given the stuff that happened in the 1970's if I'd have been here in BsAs then Id probably have adopted much the same prone position if I could.
How did you escape conscription Iznogud? Dont have to tell me if its personal
Fortunately my grandfather and father didnt hide from the call up in the UK when faced with real Nazis and they got up and did something and survived. But then you dont believe Nazis and their ilk that they are still around now so that explains it.
5. I dont call you ultra whatever or ulta or whatever! Ive met right wing thugs however and for the most part they start off appearing entirely reasonable then go off on some weirdness and then follow it up with some craziness dressed up in nationalism or whatever and whitter on justifying the unjustifiable. Does that description fit you? Hopefully no.
And not prepared to let "the next generation" know about the mistakes of the past. Woefully irresponsible for someone who says they are concerned about future generations but that's only my opinion.
"Those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it." This is so monotonously repetitive in Argentine history it's unbelievable to me how anyone could venture such a suggestion but there you go Iznogud. It's not clear cut but if your dearest Iznogud prodigy dont hear about history from you then the chances are they will hear about it elsewhere in some rather more distorted way.
Hopefully a peaceful event with no incident on the periphery that's what we all want. If you want to come back on this Iznogud no problem - end of discussion as far as Im concerned apart from my suggesting to you that trainers are a better option than flip-flops since as far as I can tell from your posting this is your first experience in the matter
