Advice for living in Microcentro

The reading of the thread was riveting! My apologies for masquerading as a woman.
I guess, not many guys ask for the custom made tango shoes ;-)
In any case, I thought that my nickname, a..dam, would be a dead giveaway. Not to mention my invitation to celebrate all those very useful tips by going to have a beer in San Thelmo bar. But wait, I have mentioned Canadian maple syrup, maybe this suggested that I dance in high heels )
So, to come clean, I am a 57 years old male and, as some of you might have already suspected, English is not my first language.

I really appreciate ALL of your advice which will help me to adjust quickly to the new surroundings. This board has a really “homey” feel and the advice is given out of the goodness of heart.

I will keep you posted about my adventures and might see you in Krakow bar, Dada restaurant or even in a Milonga )

Hi Adam,

Welcome. I have to admit I wondered about gender and started to write he/she until I thought about your focus on shoes. I think you'll be OK where you're renting, just be . . dam careful.
