Sorry - I'm asking again.
Anyone have someone working 4-5 hours a day, 6 days a week? How do you handle it in terms of paying them? Do you offer them an hourly rate? Weekly rate? Monthly rate? And if you don't mind, what are you paying?
The woman I'm interviewing that I like normally charges 30 pesos an hour. Which is standard BUT that's for a few hours a week of work per job. This is a consistent position so the rate needs to be adjusted. The legal rate is something like 1100 pesos for 24 hours of week a work and then 15 pesos an hour for an extra hour per day. That is far too low IMO but I am trying to decide a fair compromise.
I do things in white, they get paid feriados and if they choose to work, I pay them double for the day. So it can add up quickly which is why I want to find a solution that's fair to both of us.
