I can't help liking Axel Kiciloff, I don't know why.
He seems the sort of bloke you could actually enjoy a beer with, which is a lot more than you could say for the rest of the gang.
To me, confidence and credibility go hand in hand and clearly the regime has a problem in this department.
What struck me this morning was how the announcement was made.
Little Axel, hanging off the Captain's shirt tails, desperate to assert his authority, seemed like a little boy lost.
But no, he could contain himself no longer, grabbed the mic and let rip.
It seems to me that being Minister for the economy, he should be given the floor to make such announcements and not play second fiddle.

Poor Kicillof: "The same folks 10 years ago who said to us that the price of a dollar is 1 peso are now saying that its 13 pesos...waaaaaa" Aww! Where's his mommy? He was ever so slightly edging even further behind Capitanich during the whole time Capitanich was speaking. I think he was attached to him by a string or something. You can see him being pulled when he's trying to talk on the mic.

But anyway, didn't this government, not too long ago, announce another move that killed the blue dollar? Oh I can't remember what it was called but it was something along the lines of "bring your dollars into the country tax free" or something like that? Anyone remember what I'm talking about? Remember how it killed the blue dollar? Remember?!

And apparently the markets are waiting to see what happens because of this on Monday? Pfff. These market folks need to spend a couple of months down here to see how things really work.

You'll have a lot of varying rates for a couple of weeks. Check some other website and they'll have a different rate for the blue. I think the government dispatched AFIP officers, like they've done a dozen times already, to go after those trading in blue dollars. Blue dollar will fall because of this, like it has done a dozen times already. And then it will come back up, like it has done a dozen times already.

Sell dollars for 10, Buy dollars for 12. Giant spread because of uncertainty. Not the time to make a transaction.
