Chinese Trains Arrive In Buenos Aires

More new trains! This time for line B.

I wonder when/if they'll sort the stations air con out so they don't over heat with all the trains pumping extra heat out into them.

I think they're going to add more forced air but not actual air-conditioning, either way I don't really care. The 3-5 minutes in a sweltering station is a lot more bearable than 30 minutes packed in like sardines with people who have soaked their clothes through with sweat

Hi,

New? That is old junk from Spain. Meanwhile Linea D y E are getting worst and worst by the day.

Cheers!

Better than the shit they had.
Maybe in a few years a sensible government can come in and buy new trains at a national level from their mercosur partners Brazil.

Maybe some new power plants should be considered to keep the subtes running in the dog days of summer. Feel like they have their priorities ass backwards.

no, I did nor missunderstand, I know Clarin lies, and the government too. The only way to have something near the truth is to reading exhaustively both sides, and not to read the panphlets, like Clarin or Tiempo Argentino.

La Nacion is way more reliable than Clarin, they just dont make it so evident. The same with Pagina 12, they are so more believable than Tiempo Argentino... although you have clearly two sides, you can make by your own some approximation to the truth, which IMO is clearly some where in the middle.

My conclusion, is that this government have done a lot of things right, and if you dig in who are the people the oposicion supports, you ll find they are the ones that won in 2001, while the great majority went into poverty, the people that won with the dictatorship policies, etc, not only the press (Clarin & La Nacion had done big bussiness with Videla) but he big capitals this people represent. So I doubt of everything they say, you just cant trust them. It happens also with the Kirchner matromony, that they were gobernors of Menem, and they supported him, although in these 10 years thay have totally changed the country, for better IMO.

For a paper that was once a crusading breath of fresh air, Página's pandering officialism is truly disgraceful.

Once again Argentina proves that it can build nothing.

The problem is not that they cant build any thing just that what they build tends to be half the quality and 10x the price of internationally available alternatives.

But they compensate by producing things that are nac y pop!

What ever happened to ropa para todos? It was all over the news last year, did they ever manage to implement it? I was reminded because the clothes were going to be branded NyP for nac&pop but the empresario who was going to be making them said that it could also stand for "nylon & polyester".
