Countdown To Default!

Well, we have to wait and see because both sides are hard as...s.
However, before 2015 the goverment is not going to do anything because of RUFO.
Life goes on in Argentina, this is not a disaster, a disaster would have been to make an agreement and tomorrow the vultures ask full payment on the other bonds with discounts they already bought.
Not big deal for those who survived the 2001 crisis.

I think this is right on the money....Argentine drama is chronically omnipresent yet fleeting. There is always some kind of critical situation looming; lately multiple crises at once, however people lose interest and move on to the next one. They have more flavors of political drama than heladerías have ice cream flavors.

Sure, since this debt was invented.

Hmmmm... not really invented. It existed and the vultures chased it with success. I'm not saying I agree with it. It just didn't appear out of thin air.

I m talking about the 70'. There was no reason to take loans on 90 billion then. Before that the debt was about 4.

Or how about since Perón came into power and put Argentina on a semi permanent slippery slope of populist demagoguery....face it!

Perón had very bad things, like fascism and lack of freedom but he was wise on economy. He invested the money on atómic energy, hidroelectric energy, he developed acindar, aluar, etc.

Perón started the whole import substitution farce that ensured Argentines would have the right to purchase inferior locally produced items.
