Vaccine A has 76% efficacy.
Vaccine B has 66% efficacy.
Vaccine C has 79% efficacy.

All of them are actively used for vaccination right now.
Question: Which one of them is shit?

Somewhereinba: Chinese one!

A - Astrazeneca (UK)
B - Johnson & Johnson (USA)
C - Sinopharm (China)
Please provide peer reviewed study that shows Astrazeneca and Johnson and Johnson have 76% and 66% efficacy. Will wait for response.

Astrazeneca Results were similar in different age groups, with vaccine efficacy of 85% in adults 65 years and older.

On 29 January 2021, Janssen announced that 28 days after a completed vaccination, the vaccine was 66% effective in a one-dose regimen in preventing symptomatic COVID-19, with an 85% efficacy in preventing severe COVID-19,[20][21][22] and 100% efficacy in preventing hospitalization or death caused by the disease.[1]

A recent study of the effectiveness of Chile’s vaccination programme found the efficacy of a single dose of the Sinovac jab was just 3 per cent, compared with 56 per cent with two shots.

Thanks for playing - Chinese vaccine sucks compared to both Astrazeneca and Johnson and Johnson. Astrazeneca performs best at lower dosage which they now use AND on older people who are the ones who need it most. Johnson and Johnson stops 100% of hospitalisations which is the end goal. Chinese crap vaccines only stop 56% of cases even after 2 shots lol.. The data is clear

Thanks for playing - Chinese vaccine sucks ...

I have another logical line that would probably go perfectly well with your reasoning.

Today is Monday. Apples are round. About 60% of the human body is water. Chinese vaccine sucks! lol

It looks like we basically just need to wait until the virus mutates into a form that is both highly contagious but with very mild symptoms. This way it will become the dominant strain and we won’t have to worry about it.
Vaccines will work as a stop gap but there is no chance the whole world will be vaccinated at any point before a new strain pops up somewhere. It will be a couple of years of things opening up in the summer and shut downs in the winter before it naturally becomes another ‘cold virus’.

Effective or not, Sinopharm is all that's available now here in La PLata. Family members are taking it in hopes of reducing the severity of symptoms if they get covid. As soon as possible they plan to get both doses of Pfizer or Astrazeneca.

Carla Vizzotti addressed the Chinese vaccine in El Dia. She mentions that Phase III of the clinical trials showed very good results.
I've tried but can't find any other reference to Sinopharm completing Phase III.

The Minister of Health, Carla Vizzotti, assured today that there was"confusing information" about the Chinese vaccines of Sinopharm andSinovac against the coronavirus, and highlighted that Argentinaapplied 2 million doses of Sinopharm, which has an efficacy of 80% .

"There are two vaccines that come from China, Sinovac and Sinopharm. Theinformation was confusing mixing the efficacy of the two vaccines and put them in the same situation," the minister said at a press conference about theinformation that circulated in the media in recent days.

"The vaccine applied by Argentina, which already has two million doses, is that ofSinopharm, which has an efficacy similar to AstraZeneca and other vaccines thathave no objection and is 80%, and that is very good to prevent the disease and toreduce the severity and deaths,

The results of the phase III clinical trial for the Sinopharm vaccine showed anefficacy of 79.34% and that study participants who had received two dosesproduced a level of antibodies against the virus at a rate of 99.52%.

This is the same argument that the Peruvian government came out with several weeks ago when the leaked preliminary results of the Peruvian clinical trial managed out of the Cayetano Heredia Hospital showed very low efficacy of Sinopharm: the government reiterated the 79% efficacy recorded in the United Arab Emirates and urged people to wait for the final results of the Peruvian trial. The final results are probably due for release soon. I am guessing the UAE trial was a phase III.
