Emergencias Salud health plan

Has anyone had experience(s) willing to share with this outfit, Emergencias Salud? They offer this, starting at $18.90 per day:

- Home doctors and consultations with specialists by video call 24 hours
- Digital recipe
- Indemnity coverage for hospitalizations and surgeries
- Pharmacy discounts of up to 50%
- and much more
As said earlier it is more of a top up product for those without private cover or with very limited plans.
My OSDE plan includes most of these points including home doctors, digital prescriptions, pharmacy discounts and ambulance transport, plus a lot more including cover in all neighbouring countries plus any kind of inpatient or outpatient treatments... even cosmetic surgery and laser vision correction - if you take one of these electives then the plan more than pays for itself.
I would suggest to talk with your current insurance provider and ask them to cost up any items not included in your current plan - the difference may be surprisingly small plus you have the advantage of not being put in a situation where you need to sort out which insurer is liable for which charge etc.

Here's the website for Vittal: https://www.vittal.com.ar Looks pretty interesting. Chatted with someone through their online chat module and someone's going to call to fill me in on the details.
Yes, I misspelled it. For my "emergencies only" plan, I pay a small copay when they come. They have several categories of emergencies. If I have something like a flu, I am lower priority and I may have to wait more if there are other very seriously sick or injured who will be assisted first.

I have been wondering how they and their patients decide about what is an 'emergency'. So good to know they handle degrees of not being well, not just urgent emergencies. I am looking forward to know more about their plans and pricing. Thank you.

Have elderly relatives in a hot area -LdZ- and wanted to make sure they would send an ambulance if need be.
Once I waited 4 hours for one and only got excuses instead, since they don't consider the area safe enough to risk an ambulance.

Emergencias reply was pretty much the same, evasive at best.
They usually want you to go to them in those cases.
Just sayin'

When you call for a doctor, they ask you questions to evaluate the degree of emergency (they may use medical equipment they have inside the van or take you to the hospital if immediate action is needed or let's say if you have fever and you feel that can't make it on your own to the hospital, then they see you at home). Many times I could not call them because I had also lost my voice and couldn't speak so I just stayed sick at home but now, fortunately, if that happens I can message them via whatsapp and I don't need to talk.
