Ezieza Taxi Costs

Suggest Tienda de Leon Bus for $60 pesos . From the Terminal located a block down from the Sheraton Retiro in Retiro to Ezeiza. Departures every hour.

145 pesos. If you are traveling alone, still worth to take it, otherwise taxi is better.

I never took taxi from ezeiza mafia, since they rob half of the money from drivers, and is far from illegal to take on that drops people out. Also, you see that someone already came safely to the destination :). Negotiation is a must, you just have to know number 300 and pesos in spanish and you will get through ...

Self - Regular user of Taxi Ezeiza.

use them about 2-3 times a month.

But every once in a while, I have a highly unsatisfactory experience.

eg, I ordered a taxi for 2215 and the guy arrived at 2135. He buzzed my guard asking me to go down. I told my guard to tell him that I will go down only at 2215.
So I reach the taxi exactly at 2215. The guy is frothing. First thing he tells me " Today, you are going to miss your flight" . I said "Why?" He replies " Its because its Friday evening, too much traffic, too much party going on - it may take 4 hours to reach the airport". So i reply " Well, I live in this city and I often go to the airport few times a month, but never experienced 4 hours to the airport - yes sometimes it may take 1 hr and 15 minutes max in heavy traffic". So he replies " Well, today the city has a strike and people are on the street screaming and shouting, There is total mayhem" I replied " really? I did not hear about any mayhem". he replies " today, I came 30 minutes early to protect your interest but I am sure you will miss your flight. The people are on the street cos they have no lights and heating."

at this point, i was the one who was getting angry . I said " You better stop the car. I dont think you are happy that I did not come early. It seems you deliberately want to delay me today by taking revenge. But I live in the city. I am not scared of taking a taxi." By this time, he understood, his scare-me tactics will not work on me. He calmed down. I was at the airport in 35 minutes from palermo.

lesson learnt - Do not believe that if you hire a professional remi. all will be well. Some of the drivers are really abnoxious.

I'm usually using this, if I can:

If not, I go to arrivals and get someone dropping out passengers and negotiate the price. Often they want to drive on taxi meter plus peajes, which is 50% of the "official" price. Always is way cheaper this way, because otherwise they go back empty...

Used them as well last time and was very satisfied. However, I'd point out they charge for a piece of baggage as much as they charge per person, which means you have to multiply by 3 if you have 2 bags.

Yes, they mention on the Web. However, they don't charge for handluggage, so all is calculation. If you just have to pick up someone on the airport or fly with none or one luggage, is still very cheap. If you have two big suitcases you'll anyway grab a cab.

I just wanted to share, that we are not speaking only about trenda Leon and taxis.

Let me get this straight. Taxis charge a full fare for the passenger and a full fare for each bag? Really? This has to be the only country in the world that does anything like this.

Taxi never charged me here for luggage, I just throw it in no matter how many I have. Minivan is charging for it, but since it's quite cheap I never complained. Also, everything is written, nothing hidden.

I just called Taxi Ezeiza and was told that FROM Ezeiza the cost is $450 and you can take 2 suitcases and a carry on. Where is this charging per bag idea coming from? Also they stated a promotion of $350 from the city to the airport.

As written above, only minivan (I shared link before) is charging for it.

Still, 450 is rip-off, never in my life I paid anywhere close to that price.
