Falklands In Light Of Crimea Rhetoric

Pauper, those reconstructions are priceless

One of our web savvy young whippersnappers posted that here a few weeks ago, it just came to mind with the allusion to Morgan Freeman.

I didn't know who he was either, though I had a rough idea given the context of the conversation. So you know what I did? I put the name in a search engine and found out. I'm sure there were other people who didn't know who he was but only you had to make a big song and dance about it in order to push your usual snooty little agenda.

And I found out I don't care who you are either.

Well,

J. J. Abrams confirms Half-Life and Portal movie projects

Until then we will just have to be content with this.

Oh, Christ, no. JJ Abrams? I think I'm going to puke. That man should be hung by his toenails and pummeled into unconsciousness with organic produce for what he did to Star Trek. The idea of that no-talent hack being unleashed to abuse Half-Life is just horrible :(

Yes, I'm being negative.

And the big question is, who will play Alyx? How could any mortal woman possibly live up to the fantasies of millions of lonely little otaku? I think the only answer would be to go with some total unknown.

He was awesome in Driving Miss Daisy.

Maybe Morgan Freeman

Actually, that should reduce the fire (and conserve energy).

It would behoove the current administration of Argentina to follow suit.

If you don't subsidize utilities, people will stop using them like they grow on trees and more like they are a semi-precious resource.

That's a brutally callous attitude, and malicious as well. You are assuming that people waste energy, while providing no evidence. And you ignore the poor, who won't be able to afford electricity and water at all. Yet you blithely endorse depriving them of the basic necessities of life.

No doubt Ayn Rand would be very proud of you.
