Finding Interesting Items For Sale On Mercado Libre

Here's a Royal Hartford tea set featuring artwork by Raul Soldi (he painted the cupula of the Theatro Colon...as see in the serving platter).

The set is priced at $71,000 pesos.

While Soldi was at work high above, the chief set designer, Carlos Monzani, was at work designing the sets as well as pursuing his own career as a painter.

For self defense, can't beat that (real stuff... Not sure if legal... although supposedly incomplete)

There are plenty of penguin "jarras" for sale on ML but this one (from the 70's) is one of a kind:

Jarra Vintage Parky Fitz And Floyd

(It has some chips.)

I bought the 1998 and 1997 collector's vide-poche porcelain Patek Phillip trays for 36 dollars each...oh my lord! Frenchie you probably know these?

On September 9 I bought this lamp for $249 pesos (knowing it was missing the two white glass "tulipas"). It has a nice patina and does not need to be polished.

Last week this one was listed for sale for $2200 pesos. Even though it is complete with the tulipas (which can be purchased new) it looks quite dark (and I would hate to polish it):

@ Iommi: I didn't know he painted too. No real idea about the value but his sculptures fetch more than likely higher prices.

I'm finally selling my vintage photographs collection about Argentina in a local auction, in order to buy some land + build my own with my design.
I guess it's the first time there are so many photos in an Argentine auction (starting prices are very low but I'm confident I won't lose money, if I make a small profit, even better). They are worth looking at if you like 19th century pics about Argentina!

They are exhibited until december 9
