When there is not a commitment to facts, argument with Trumpistas almost inevitably descends into “I-know-you-are-but-what-am-I” level of farce.
This suits the Trumpie, their goal was only ever not to win the argument, but take a dump on it.

One thing to remember- When Reagan won in 1980, he got 50.7% of the vote, 43 million votes, and people called it a "Landslide".
Its looking like Biden will end up closer to 52%, and 80 million votes, and everybody is saying how that proves how he is really an unpopular second choice.

Biden got less votes than Obama did in all but 5 states. Which happen to be the ones in question, including almost half a million votes so far that only voted for Biden but no one else. Amazing how thousands of votes were found here and there that were exclusively for Biden in those states. And lawsuits have already been filed with sworn affidavits from election workers about broken election laws. If Biden in the end wins fine, as long as it's legit. If not Trump has every right to litigate just as Al Gore did.

Always a good idea to get rid of someone so unfit for the duties of the post they hold, be it POTUS or janitor. The average vote change in a recount on a statewide basis in the USA is 282. Trump is behind by something like 10,000 votes, minimum, in 5 states. No recount is gonna save him in even one state, much less the minimum of three he needs.

And 2 of the states he is alleging corruption and fraud in are run by Republican Governors and Republican Sect. of States, overseeing the elections- and they are not exactly happy to be called democratic party stooges...

There is no there there.
He can keep soliciting donations, and keep filing lawsuits that get dismissed, but soon enough, the States are going to certify the counts, the electoral college electors are going to meet, and Biden will be officially the president.

As of today, the count is 71,444,567 votes for Trump, and 76,343,332 for BIden. I'd say that's pretty close to 80 million.

Let's see how the lawsuits shake out. If there's no there there you've got nothing to worry about.

That is not true. The lawsuits won’t succeed, nobody is worried about that. Trump has a very long history - since long before entering politics - of threatening lawsuits, which most of the time did not go anywhere. Either didn’t even get filed, or if they did they were thrown out as they are now. The point of these threats was not to win but to weaponize the justice system by wearing down the opponent. Defending against even a frivolous lawsuits means paying lawyers lots of money, and this scummy tactic often worked against the kind of little people that Trump now professes to care for. At any rate, that’s not going to happen here.

The worry is not the lawsuits succeeding. The point of filing these lawsuits isn’t to win - they know that in Trumpworld. It is to create the impression among X amount of people that the election was stolen. That Biden’s presidency is somehow less than legitimate.

That’s the playbook they followed against Obama with the birther story, and the one they are now pursuing with Biden by cynically and irresponsibly undermining confidence in the electoral process itself.

Notice that there is never a suggestion that there may have been shenanigans in Ohio or Florida. Or about any of the Republican senators that won election, even though they won in the exact same elections, in fact on the same ballots, that elected Biden.

Never mind that a conspiracy that would elect Biden president but left Republicans with the Senate is absurd to start with. Remember as well that Trump accused Ted Cruz in 2016 of cheating to win Iowa - the very first election he ran in, and lost. Accusing his opponent of cheating is just how he rolls.

Does he have the right to exhaust his options in court? Of course he does. Have at it. But everybody else has every right to 1) take a dim view of his prospects; 2) take a dim view of his good faith; 3) take a dim view of “let’s see what happens”, as if once the legal battles are over he will concede gracefully (or at all), or that his supporters will not keep trumpeting this line.
