What makes you think it will earlier? 01SEP is four months away. Are the facts already indicating that countries like the US and Brazil will have the virus under control by then so that Argentina would not view travellers coming FROM the US or Brazil as a health risk? It was only a month ago where the majority of cases in Argentina were imported, most of them coming from the US and Europe - which had significantly less cases than they do today.... all it takes is one idiot breaking their quarantine to make all these weeks we are spending in lockdown wasted and go right back to square one.

Most European leaders have said they will be closed to Non-Schengen travellers until at least September.

They suspended all flights including out of the country and apparently domestic

You can see all flights coming into EZE here.

Right now there is an Aerolineas flight from MAD inbound and LATAM 1134 heading to MIA.

These are not commercial flights. They are ferry flights, cargo flights and some of the arriving flights are repatriation flights (only about 500 people per day are allowed to enter Argentina, even on repatriation missions.)

The AA MIA flight is cargo only.

Here is a list of the remaining repartriation flights for Argentines and residents:

I work with airports here and abroad - so receive many official updates concerning flight operations.
The list originates from la cancilleria. You can see it here:

It is done in the name of consumer protection, right? As if someone right now can't figure out that an airline ticket is not exactly a guarantee of a flight...

There is no such thing as survival let alone profit when you have to cover 50% of your costs, have zero revenue for almost 6 months or more, zero government bailout or loan, and zero possibility to legally fire staff or suspend staff without pay in the meantime. An airline doesn’t cost the same as a kiosko to operate nor do they and their many service providers employ the same amount of people.

Oh well, it’s why we pay millions of dollars each day to have AR ... and US$400 just to fly to Salta like back in the good old pre-LCC days of “minimum fares”.

Another steak knife in Argentina's economy... Its almost like they think money grows in trees and unlike other countries there is no way they are going to be allowed to make anyone redundant.
