There is so much money around that they can buy bags of blood (from the hospitals, did you saw "Carancho"?).

i did see "carancho" (free summer movie at the rosedal). last year we were eaten alive, all the time, every day. the year before, nada. this year, nada. i'm not complaining. last year it did rain a lot more.

Not much at all. Occasionally my ankles will get destroyed while I'm on the computer late in the evening, but I just bring a fan in the room and point it towards me. But yeah, this year has been pretty mellow.

I'm the one that's totally dumbfounded by this thread!
I've been staying in a place with a garden and I'm getting assaulted 24 hours a day. I've learned to discern between several types of mosquitoes. The ones that come during the afternoon have are easiest to see because they have long 'tails' and tend to hover.
Those zappers are great!
