Tourist questions : Cash for three weeks in BA?

75 for a bottle is going to be Grey Goose or Belvedere. Everything else is cheaper. Most people pay like 20 or 25 bucks for a bottle of Absolut. Places like Cabaña or Osaka or Alvear are top of the line places and that 100 bucks will still get main, appetizer, water, and bottle of wine for 2 people. Same meal easily 300 in a similar place in US or Europe. You only have to be careful in the wine menu. Those places have a giant selection of wines and many of those are very high priced (300 or more for certain bottles).

You can go to a "normal high end restaurant" and get a complete meal for 2 for 30 bucks. Cheaper during lunch with all the specials. But unfortunately outside of "normal high end restaurants" and up, I find the food in Argentina as not so great. I have no complaints because you really only spend around 10 bucks for dinner at a really good restaurant. Of course more for the best ones.
I’m a cocktail guy … wine is nice, but in the end, my meals are always with a scotch of some sort.
How about tipping culture ?

What’s funny is that as a POC who travels extensively, servers in Latin America are always surprised when I tip

You're spending habits may be similar to mine. I can easily spend between 100 and 300 dollars a day Thursday through Sunday. It depends on what you do. A complete dinner for 2 in a place like cabaña las lilas or Osaka will cost you like 100 bucks itself. A good bottle of liquor is about 75 bucks in a club if you're into that. And the randomness in between everything. But then Monday through Thurs I spend like 30 bucks and that still gets you good food 3 times a day. It's just depends on what you're doing.

Assuming US$200 a day for three days and US$30 for four days , will reult in a US$100 a day average..!

I guess the vue at the Alvear Icon Hotel must be worth to pay $1800 pesos for a cocktail ..!
