Violent protests in Chile: Will this spread to Argentina?

So, they are protesting because they are bored, right!

Obviously they are unhappy. And I think most people would agree that doing better than Argentina is setting the bar REALLY low and nothing to brag about.
For almost any country in the region, doing better than Argentina is akin of being a normal guy beating a retarded guy on a race while competing in the special Olympics.

Yes! I believe Argentines would most likely start looting sometime in the fall, once they smoke the little money they've got for new year's but once the CEPO is being tinkered with by the new government, the peso would be allowed to further devalue. I cannot imagine Argentines not responding violently once they realize the new government is just a farce and how the foreign debt would continue to put downward pressure on their standard of living.

Leftists politicians and Tv conductors in Argentina praise, rejoice, and encourage, the Chilean revolt, looting and destruction for the vindication of the long time oppressed Chilean ·"People" that suffers poor Public Health services, low Salaries, expensive medications, Low retirement pensions, etc.

. When Argies workers realize they have the same claims as Chilean workers ,it soon may explode here also..! The situation in Chile may work as a Boomerang for Argentina

You mean they won't love Cristina?

What always fascinates me about these riots is they always seem to destroy the same capital goods that they themselves benefit from. Yes, burn and damage the subway that takes you to work! Burn the grocery store you shop at! When the dust settles it is only the rioters that are left poorer and more inconvenienced.

I guess rioting is spurred by an emotion and when emotion is high, then logic fails. If the rioters actually want to make an impact, they need to go the neighborhoods where the wealthy live, shop, and work and burn down those capital goods.

In the US riots have taken place in poor inner city neighbourhoods, not in places like Beverly Hills. Same pattern.

The reason is that the wealthier neighbourhoods are much better policed than poorer neighbourhoods .
